Henry Haffner
Hailing from the sunny land of Middle Tennessee, this southern gentleman adds his mellifluous viola playing to the group. Haffner, a former winner of the Sewanee Summer Music Festival Concerto Competition, has a growing legion of fans that adore his curious facial expressions. He has studied with Kathryn Plummer of the Blair School of Music, and Charles Pikler, of the Chicago Symphony.
In addition, Hank arranges some tunes for the group (including a soon to be released version of a Heavy Metal Classic), and pens their characteristically verbose program notes/biographies. He is a beautiful man.
